Most of you will be regular users of the beloved CorrBoard, and I think you'll agree that Mark has done an brilliant job in making the site what it is today. The CorrBoard has become probably the most popular fan site out there, earning great respect on how it was run, gaining acknowledgement from the band themselves.

As you're well aware, Mark has decided to hang up his boots and call it a day. I think you'll agree he's done his bit for king & country, keeping the board going through difficult times, most noticebly in recent months with various webserver problems. He has now decided to the pass the baton on, and I've taken up the challenge.

Soon, a new messageboard will be online, and will look very different to the current CorrBoard. It will appear like most other boards out there on the web (at least on the surface), but it is my intention to run it very differently. There won't be the usual forum for every single Corrs subject you can think of, I intend to keep things simple, just keeping the same three forums you are familiar with on the CorrBoard, run to same high standards.

However, I haven't forgotten the popular format Mark created with the CorrBoard, and with a little help from my friends, plan to eventually to re-create the same look and feel that people love. So for the moment, consider this messageboard a temporary replacement for the CorrBoard, until we have something more suitable, something worthy of Mark's work.

For example, all you budding artists out there, I have still yet to create a suitable new logo, and if you want to send me something, then I might just end up using yours on the new messageboard.
